News of strange and unusual creatures always stirs up Search. It seems you can’t get enough of Mother Nature’s oddities, from the one-eyed kitty to the world’s largest catfish.
The latest beast to make the Buzz is the “monster rabbit” currently terrorizing vegetable patches in northern England. Queries on “rabbits” hopped 10% this week, though part of that is no doubt due to the imminent arrival of the Easter Bunny. But the 379% jump on “giant rabbits” can be attributed only to that astonishing picture of a huge hare that bounced around the Web. We also tracked spikes on “continental giant rabbit” and “german giant rabbit.”
So if the rabbit hiding eggs in your yard seems abnormally large this year, don’t be alarmed—simply turn him loose on those weeds multiplying in your garden.
