This intense rocker continues to strut his stuff each week and earned some buzz with his piano-based rendition of “Losing My Religion.”
However, reality TV fans might be hesitant in pledging their allegiance to Star. They remember the other Ryan Star(r)—the one with two R’s in her last name. The aspiring singer known as Ryan Starr changed her name (from Tiffany Montgomery) to a more celestial-friendly moniker before she appeared on the first season of “American Idol.” Her pipes weren’t popular with fans, and she was booted only to continue to plague viewers by popping up on “The Surreal Life” and “Battle of the Network Reality Stars.”
Searches on the two-R Ryan Starr have experienced a renaissance, but we attribute that spike to interest in the current reality TV contestant. So if you’re into Ryan Star from “Rock Star,” please let your interest shine—we know no one’s really gazing at the other Starr right now.
