Body modification always scores big in Buzz, as proven by the continued popularity of tattoo searches. But what if that unicorn tat on your arm is fading and you’re ready to try something new? Perhaps you might consider getting a piercing. Searches on “body piercings” were up 87% this past weekend, and judging from past search spikes, puncturing your skin is primarily a weekend activity. Chicks lead the way in “piercing” searches, accounting for 60% of Buzz on this painful procedure.
And while we won’t discount the extreme pain involved with nether-region piercings, we’ll swab them out of our squeaky clean top 20 piercing searches…
