Prepping for her third Buzz arc, Christina Aguilera is ready to storm back into our top searches. She made her mark on the Buzz in the naughty-but-nice days of “Genie in a Bottle,” the just plain naughty days of “Dirrty,” and now she’s back with a more refined, mature presentation. The first single off her take on vintage jazz and soul, “Ain’t No Other Man” is already making its way through the Buzz, and we expect a summer full of searches on the platinum-haired pixie as her latest album, “Back to Basics,” nears release in mid-August.

For someone who’s cultivated a raw sex-kitten image, it’s surprising to note Aguilera pulls down 60% of her searches from women. Could it be that young women identify with her image as a “Fighter” or a girl who’s “Beautiful“? She does appeal to a young demographic, which makes her foray into the world of classic tunes an even bigger risk. A full 70% of her searches come from the under-24 crowd, and it’ll be interesting to see if they’ll buy whatever the formerly Dirrty girl is sellin’.

A recent layout and profile in GQ led to a spike in queries on “christina aguilera gq” from those who wanted to see the bodacious belter pull off a Marilyn Monroe-esque peek-a-boo. Other Christina searches on the rise include: “christina aguilera pictures,” “christina aguilera lyrics,” and “christina aguilera videos.” Will she reclaim her spot atop our Buzz chart? We’ll be watching…
